Erik Amspacher

Erik Amspacher enters his third year as the head coach of the baseball program in the 2024 season.

In the 2023 season, the Nittany Lions finished 11-24 on the season and were 10-11 in conference play. The Nittany Lions again just missed out on a spot in the United East Postseason Tournament. Chad Evans earned a spot on the United East First Team and was a d3baseball.com All-Mid-Atlantic Second Team selection.

In his first season at the helm in 2022, Amspacher guided the Nittany Lions to a 16-17 overall record and 9-12 in United East play. Berks was in the hunt for a return trip to the postseason, but were eliminated from the playoff picture on the final weekend of the regular season. Under Amspacher's guidance, the Nittany Lions had an United East First Team (Chad Evans) and Second Team (Colin Templin) honorees. Evans also received third team recognition from d3baseball.com.

Prior to Berks, Amspacher was the head varsity coach of West York Area High School from 2018-21. He was previously the assistant coach at West York during the 2018 season.
