CAREER: Heilman finished his four-year career with his named etched all over the hitting and pitching record books at Berks. He is fourth all-time in hits (99) and runs scored (75), while his .327 batting average and 61 RBI are the sixth best. Heilman also ranks in the top-10 in at-bats (303), slugging percentage (.403), on-base percentage (.394), stolen bases (16), hit by pitch (10), total bases (122), games played (101), and games started (91). Heilman’s 163.1 innings pitched are the most in program history, while his 24 starts and 34 appearances are the second most. The right hander ranks third with 11 wins and seven complete games.

2012: Started in 25 of the 29 games he appeared in as a senior…was an All-NEAC Second team selection…led the team with a .375 batting average…recorded 33 hits, three doubles, a home run, 17 RBI and 15 runs scored…had a .443 slugging percentage and a .394 on-base percentage…had eight multi-hit games…was 3-for-3 on stolen base attempts…had a team-high four sacrifice bunts…started in six of the eight games that he appeared in as a pitcher…his four wins and 25 strikeouts were tied for the team lead…had a 3.12 ERA in 43.1 innings of work…threw two complete games…combined with Kyle Hartman for 14 strikeouts against SUNYIT, which is a single-game team record.

2011: Pitched in 10 contests and made eight starts as a junior…had a team-high 53.0 innings pitched…went 3-5 with two complete games, 24 strikeouts and a 3.40 ERA…pitched a complete game, five-hitter in the NEAC Western Division Championship…was 9-for-47 at the plate with one double, eight RBI and 11 runs scored…had a .973 fielding percentage with 49 assists.

2010: Combined for 6.1 innings pitched in two appearances as a sophomore…had a 2.84 ERA and eight strikeouts…played in and started 15 games in the field…batted .244 (11-for-45) with three doubles, seven RBI and 10 runs scored…was 3-for-4 on stolen base attempts.

2009: Batted .374 (46-for-123) to lead the Nittany Lions as a freshman…was an All-NEAC First Team selection…had seven doubles, two triples, 23 RBI and 39 runs scored…had a .480 slugging percentage and a .466 on-base percentage…went 8-for-10 on stolen base attempts…led the pitching staff with a 4.45 ERA in 60.2 innings of work…tied for second on the team with four wins…had one shutout and three complete games…struck out 24 batters.
