Career: Darren Major has established himself as one of the most explosive and prolific scorers in Penn State Berks history. The sophomore set the single-season record for points scored in a season (492) and ranks fourth all-time with 748 career points. He has a scoring average of 14.7 points per game, which is the highest in school history. Major is fifth all-time with 267 field goals made, while his 81 3-pointers is the third most…his 133 free throws made and .704 free throw percentage are the fifth best…ranks among the top-10 in blocked shots (23), games played (51), and minutes played (1277).

2013-14: Was one of three players to appear and start in all 26 contests…set the single-season school record with 492 points scored…his 18.9 scoring average is the second highest in program history…the scoring average is second in the NEAC and ranked 73rd in the nation…reached double figures in every game, including 12 contests with 20 or more…scored a career-high 35 points in a win over Gallaudet University, which is the second most in program history…holds the single-season record with 180 field goals made, while his 79 free throws made are second most…his 53 3-pointers made are the fourth most at Berks…shot 41.3% (180-436) from the field and was 32.3% (53-164) from long distance…his 115 rebounds and 4.4 rebounds per game were the third most on the squad…recorded 29 assists, 24 steals, and 18 blocked shots…established career-highs for rebounds (9), assists (4), and steals (5) during the postseason.

2012-13: Played in all 25 games and made four starts as a freshman…was fifth on the team in scoring with 256 points and 10.2 scoring average…shot 87-for-237 (36.7%) from the floor and 28-for-92 (30.4%) from 3-point range…shot 54-of-71 from the foul line for a 76.1% which was second on the team…recorded 70 rebounds, 13 assists, 23 steals, and five blocks…scored in double figures nine times, including a season-high 25 against Penn State Harrisburg…tied the single-game school record for free throws made in a game with nine against Immaculata University on November 29…his 54 free throws made is the eighth most in school history, while his 76.1% free throw percentage is ranks sixth.
