READING – Penn State Berks Athletics will celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the 2016 women's soccer team's historic NCAA Sweet 16 run on Saturday, Sept. 19.

Members of the 2016 team will return to campus and be recognized at halftime of the Nittany Lions' noon match against Elizabethtown.

The 2016 squad produced one of the most memorable seasons in program history, advancing to the NCAA Division III Sweet 16 and establishing a lasting legacy at Penn State Berks.

Prior to Saturday's match, Penn State Berks will also recognize the current women's soccer senior class as part of its annual Senior Day celebration.

Fans, alumni and friends of the program are encouraged to join Penn State Berks Athletics in celebrating both the current senior class and the accomplishments of the 2016 Sweet 16 team.

The women's match will kick off at noon, followed by the Penn State Berks men's soccer team hosting Marywood at 2:30 p.m.
