Lancaster, PA – The Penn State Berks Men's Tennis Team earned their first conference victory of the season, sweeping Lancaster Bible College, winning by a score of 7-0 on Wednesday, March 26.
The Lions got off to a strong start, winning all three doubles matches in dominant fashion. Berks kept the momentum going in singles play with
Muhammad Esmat and
Talan Nguyen picking up commanding wins in the #1 and #2 singles matches.
Jazae Maina-Itegi fended off a strong challenge in the #3 singles match.
Donovan Sullivan shook off a slow start, picking up a victory in the #4 singles match.
Joseph Martin and
Rajas Joshi rounded out singles play with solid individual victories.
