MBB drops road tilt to St Mary's

ST. MARY'S, MD - The Penn State Berks men's basketball team dropped its United East contest, 96-70, on the road to Saint Mary's College of Maryland on Saturday afternoon.

Luke Collins connected on three 3-pointers and was 6-for-8 at the free throw line to collect a team-best 17 points, while also gathering five rebounds. Marquis Ferreira chipped in 16 points and four boards, while Greg Fuchs added nine points. Andre Ballard finished with eight points and a team-high 10 boards, Darik Tannis-Harriet had seven points, six rebounds, and there assists.

Daryn Alexander led the Seahawks with 21 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists, while Jahsiah Lamothe had 16 points and seven boards. Hollique Johnson pulled down a game-high 12 rebounds.

The Nittany Lions will travel to Lancaster Bible College for an United East game on Wednesday, February 7 at 5 p.m.
