MBB drops season finale to Harrisburg

MIDDLETOWN, PA - The Penn State Berks men's basketball team fell 93-65 to Penn State Harrisburg in the season finale on Saturday afternoon.

Jeff Lorah closed out his collegiate career with 22 points on 8-of-13 shooting from the floor and a 4-of-9 showing from 3-point range. Isaiah Cotten added 12 points and two steals, while Jaedon Mast chipped in six points. Kai Davis, Josh Gardner, and Grant Watson all finished with five points. Matthew Gingerich had a team-high six rebounds.

Zegary Scott led Harrisburg with 17 points and five assists, while Nate Curry added 14 points and six boards. Lance Douglas pulled down a game-high seven rebounds.

Lorah finished the season with a team-high 14.0 points per game, followed by Cotten (10.4) and Darik Tannis-Harriet (10.3). Cotten had a team-high 5.0 rebounds per game, while Andre Ballard followed at 4.2.

Berks finishes the season with an overall record of 7-16 and were 5-11 in the United East. The team averaged 73.7 points per game, which is the sixth most in a season in program history. They finished with the second most 3-pointers made (229) and third best 3-point field goal percentage (34.4%). This year's squad also ranked among the top-10 in a season in field goal percentage (41.8%), free throw percentage (64.5%), assists (324), and steals (226).

The team will bid farewell to Lorah and fellow senior Hassan Koroma, who were both honored prior to tip-off on Friday night. The team will look to build on the success from this year and earn a return trip to the conference postseason next year.
