WBB falls on the road to Lancaster Bible

Box Score LANCASTER, PA - The Penn State Berks women's basketball team fell 75-46 on the road to Lancaster Bible College in an United East contest on Saturday afternoon.

The Chargers led 27-9 after the first period and took a 47-18 lead into the halftime break. Berks edged LBC 14-10 in the third quarter, but the Chargers outscored the Nittany Lions 18-14 in the fourth to claim the victory.

Lyla Spencer led Berks with 13 points to go along with five rebounds and three assists. Morgan Kline chipped in nine points, while Jalyn Hann and Hailey Miller both added eight points. Chenoa Bernhardt, who had six points, matched Spencer and Hann for the team-lead in rebounds with five. 

Jade Eshleman led the Chargers with 18 points, followed by Adalyn Steiner with 15 and Irene Were with 14.

The Nittany Lions will travel to Penn College for an United East tilt on Wednesday, January 11 at 5 p.m.
