MBB topped by LBC on the road

Box Score LANCASTER, PA - The Penn State Berks men's basketball team hung tight in the first half, but host Lancaster Bible College pulled away late to win 104-75 in an United East contest on Saturday afternoon.

The Chargers (5-6, 2-0 United East) led 49-44 at halftime, followed by a 55-31 margin in the second half to secure the victory.

The Nittany Lions (3-7, 1-2 United East) had four players score in double figures, led by Josh Gardner with 12 points. Andre Ballard and Luke Collins each chipped in 11 points, while Darik Tannis-Harriet added 10 points and five assists. Kai Davis recorded a team-high six boards coming off the bench.

Jordan Shrewbridge led the Chargers with 26 points, followed by Adam Stoltzfus with 15 and Grant Sareyka with 14.

The Nittany Lions will travel to Penn College for an United East contest on Wednesday, January 11 at 7 p.m.
