Hagenbush ties program record in season finale

ST. MARY'S CITY, MD - Sam Hagenbush turned in a strong performance as the Penn State Berks women's basketball team suffered a 61-32 setback to St. Mary's College in United East action on Saturday afternoon.

Hagenbush finished 7-of-14 from beyond the arc en route to a career-best 23 points. The seven 3-pointers made are tied for the most in a single-game in program history, while the 50.0% showing from long range is tied for the 4th best performance at Berks. In addition, the sophomore guard recorded eight rebounds, which is one off of her career-high.

Marissa Pyatt chipped in eight points to go along with six rebounds, three assists, and a steal. Katie Davis recorded five points and five boards, while Maddie Motze had two points, five rebounds, and four assists. Abby Ackley recorded a contest-high nine rebounds to go along with two assists, two blocked shots, and a steal.

Karon Williams led the Seahawks with 13 points, seven assists, and four steals. Cassidy Kuchinskas and Cameron Mangold followed with eight points, with Mangold also recording eight rebounds, four assists, and four steals.
