WBB falls to SUNY Morrisville in home finale

READING, PA - The Penn State Berks women's basketball team fell, 92-48, to SUNY Morrisville in an United East contest on Tuesday night.

Abby Ackley poured in a career-high 22 points after shooting 9-of-13 from the field, including a 2-of-3 showing from the 3-point line. The freshman guard also brought down nine rebounds, one assists, and one steal in 40 minutes of action. Katie Davis notched the first double-double of her career after a season-high 12 points and 11 boards. Sam Hagenbush chipped in 10 points and Kayla Zelonka added three. Marissa Pyatt finished the game with two assists and two steals.

Josely Medina led the Mustangs with 19 points, while Oliva Brunner and Abby VandeWalker each had 14. Ashley LaRuffa pulled down a game-high 13 boards, followed by Brunner with 10.

The Nittany Lions will travel to Gallaudet University for an United East contest on Friday, February 18 at 7 p.m.
