WBB drops conference opener to St. Mary's

READING, PA - The Penn State Berks women's basketball team dropped a 69-26 decision to St. Mary's College in the United East opener for both teams on Friday night.

The Nittany Lions received 10 points, six rebounds, three steals, and two assists by Emily Clapper. Kayla Zelonka recorded a game-high eight rebounds, followed by Katie Davis with seven boards to go with nine points. Sam Hagenbush had five points and five rebounds, while Maddie Motze grabbed four boards. Marissa Pyatt finished with two points and three rebounds.

Kendra Stamper led the Seahawks with 13 points to go with six boards and three steals. Stephanie Howell added 10 points, seven rebounds, and two blocked shots.

The Nittany Lions will host Gallaudet University in a conference contest on Saturday, December 4 at 3 p.m.
