Men's tennis topped by Harrisburg

MIDDLETOWN, PA - The Penn State Berks men's tennis team was topped by Penn State Harrisburg, 7-2, in a non-conference match on Wednesday afternoon.

Harrisburg opened the doubles play by taking two of the three bouts. Diego Olazagasti and Curtis Uhle teamed up for an 8-6 triumph over Sachin Venkatesh and Isaac George in the No. 1 spot. Harrisburg took the No. 2 flight by an 8-2 score and were 8-1 winners at the third spot.

Olazagasti notched the other point for Berks after winning the top singles match by set scored of 6-2, 4-6, 10-5. Uhle (No. 2) fell by scores of 6-3, 6-1, while Jacob Metzger (No. 5) dropped his match, 6-1, 6-4.

The Nittany Lions will open up NEAC play when they host Penn College on Saturday, March 30 at 11 a.m.
