Women's tennis topped by Misericordia

READING, PA - The Penn State Berks women's tennis team dropped a 6-3 decision to Misericordia University in non-conference action on Sunday afternoon at the Gring's Mill Tennis Courts.

The Nittany Lions (1-6) were ahead 2-1 at the conclusion of doubles play. The No. 1 duo of Alyssa Miller and Lexi Vidal collected an 8-3 victory, while Tessa Caltagirone and Anushka Rege rallied for an 8-4 win at the third spot.

The Cougars (5-3) claimed five of the six singles matches to earn the victory. Nicole Meek was the Nittany Lions lone singles victory after taking down her opponent, 6-2, 6-3.

The Nittany Lions will travel to Penn State Harrisburg for a non-conference match on Wednesday, March 27 at 3:30 p.m.
