SAAC to host Pink Game fundraiser for WVB on October 8

READING, PA - The Penn State Berks Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is set to host its annual Pink Games fundraiser for women's volleyball on Tuesday, October 8. The team will wear pink t-shirts and will be accepting donations at the site of the venue.

The women's volleyball team will host Gwynedd Mercy University next Tuesday, beginning at 7 p.m. in the Beaver Community Center. In between game 2 and 3 of the match, there will be a serving contest in which participants that make a donation can win prizes.

The men's and women's soccer teams will also take part in Pink Game fundraisers later in the fall season.

Proceeds benefit the Breast Cancer Support Services of Berks County, a non-profit organization that provides hope, information, and emotional support to women diagnosed with breast cancer and those who care for and about them.
