Women's volleyball falls to LBC in NEAC tilt

LANCASTER, PA - The Penn State Berks women's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to Lancaster Bible College in a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) contest on Friday afternoon at Horst Athletic Center.

The Nittany Lions fall to 5-13 on the season and 3-2 in NEAC play, while the Chargers improve to 11-5 overall and 4-0 in league action. LBC claimed the victory by game scores of 25-9 25-17, 25-21.

For the second straight contest, Jenna Plitnick led the offensive attack after finishing Friday with seven kills to go along with nine digs. Abbie Carr had five kills and one block assist, while Megan Lackman chipped in four kills and four digs. Maddy Kessler added three kills, two block assists, and one solo block. Madison Wojciechowski recorded a team-high 15 digs and MacKenzie Reed handed out 16 assists.

The Nittany Lions will host Wilkes University in a non-conference contest on Thursday, October 4 at 7 p.m.
