Men's soccer falls to Wells on the road

AURORA, N.Y. - The Penn State Berks men's soccer team dropped a 4-1 decision on the road to Wells College in a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) contest on Saturday afternoon.

The Nittany Lions fall to 5-9-1 on the season and 3-6 in the NEAC, while the Express improve to 4-11 overall and 3-6 in the conference.

Wells took a 1-0 lead in the first half and expanded it to 4-0 with three more goals in the first 21+ minutes of the second half.

Tom Ulrich got the Nittany Lions on the board when he sent home a corner kick from BRENDEN VALVERDE in the 68th minute. Berks was unable to break through for another goal the rest of the way.

Trent Johnson recorded a pair of saves in the first half and Gerardo Sosa made four stops in the half. Colton Jaquith earned the win in net for the Express as he finished the contest with seven saves.

The Nittany Lions will travel to Keuka College for a NEAC contest on Sunday, October 21 at 1 p.m.
