READING, PA - The Penn State Berks softball team continued on its winning ways with a pair of 13-0 victories over the College of Saint Elizabeth in a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) South Division doubleheader on Saturday afternoon at Hintz Athletic Field. Prior to the game, the Nittany Lions celebrated the careers of Chelsea Bright, Jenna Heffner, Madison Newhouser, and Megan Olsen with Senior Day honors.

Berks has now run its winning streak to 11 straight games to improve to 15-7 on the year and 11-1 in the NEAC, while the Eagles fall to 5-21 overall and 2-10 in the conference.

Jessica Rozick carried a no-hitter into the fifth inning in game one, but the Eagles managed a pair of singles to break up the bid. Rozick finished the contest with six strikeouts in the complete-game, shutout. The sophomore right-hander improves to 9-3 with 99 strikeouts and a 1.24 ERA in 73.2 innings pitched this season.

Heffner continued her scorching hot performance at the plate, going 4-for-4 with two doubles, one stolen base, four RBI, and a run scored in the opener. She has recorded three or more hits in seven of the teams last nine games to raise her batting average to .513 on the year.
