Men's tennis picks up sweep over Rosemont

READING, PA - The Penn State Berks men's tennis team earned a 9-0 victory over visiting Rosemont College in a non-conference contest at Hillcrest Tennis Club on Friday afternoon.

The Nittany Lions (4-5) received an 8-0 win from the No. 1 doubles team of Ryan Fritz and Will Byler and the No. 2 team of Omar Rahmy and Mostafa Rahmy. The No. 3 duo of Dylan Deleon and Diego Olazagasti were winners by forfeit.

In singles action, Fritz (No.1), Olazagasti, Nick Volk (No. 4), and Grant Batzer (No. 5) were all winners by a score of 6-0, 6-0. Sneh Patel won by default at sixth singles and M. Rahmy won his No. 3 bout by a score of 6-1, 6-1.

The Nittany Lions will travel to Albright College for a non-conference contest on Monday, March 27 at 3:30 p.m.
