Nittany Lions fall on the road to Abington

ABINGTON, PA - The Penn State Berks women's basketball team suffered a 77-62 setback to Penn State Abington in a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) contest on Wednesday evening.

Berks finished the contest with five players scoring in double figures, led by Deanna Daddona with 14 points. The freshman guard also recorded nine rebounds and four assists. Angie Russell and Mackenzie Huber each chipped in 13 points, marking a career-high for Russell who shot 6-for-15 from the floor. Shanelle Koch notched a double-double with 10 points and 10 boards, while Cassidy Schultz also added 10 points.

Madison Kimball led Abington with 20 points and 19 rebounds, followed by Mallory Mugnier with 19 points and 13 boards.

The Nittany Lions will host SUNY Polytechnic in a NEAC contest on Saturday, February 12 at 3 p.m.
