Women's volleyball falls to Moravian

Box Score BETHLEHEM, PA (September 29, 2015) - The Penn State Berks women's volleyball suffered a 3-1 setback to Moravian College in a non-conference contest on Tuesday evening at Johnston Hall.

The Nittany Lions (9-8) picked up a 25-21 win in the opener, but the Greyhounds rattled off wins of 25-15, 25-17, 25-18 to grab the victory.

Heleanna Davison matched her season-high 13 kills to lead the Nittany Lions offensive attack, while also recording one solo block and one block assist. Addie Parsons collected eight kills and 14 digs, while Jenny Von Holt chipped in seven kills. Megan DeAbreu had a team-high 18 digs, while Cassidy Schultz notched 13. Corinne Watson handed out 29 assists and grabbed six digs.

The Nittany Lions will travel to the College of Saint Elizabeth for three NEAC contests this weekend. On Saturday, Berks will play Bryn Athyn College at 1 p.m. and Penn State Abington at 5 p.m. They finish off the weekend on Sunday against host Saint Elizabeth at 12 p.m.
