Women's basketball falls to Gallaudet

WASHINGTON, D.C. (February 1, 2015) - The Penn State Berks women's basketball team suffered a 53-45 setback on the road to Gallaudet University in a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) contest on Sunday afternoon.

The Nittany Lions trailed 28-27 at halftime and were as close at three points down with just over eight minutes to play.

Shanelle Koch led the Nittany Lions with 15 points and seven rebounds to go along with her two assists and two steals. Jaslyn Silva recorded 12 points, four rebounds, and three assists. Nicole Maslowski added seven points, followed by Heather Gray with six.

Danielle Warren led Gallaudet with 11 points, while Elena Ciccarelli had a contest-high 13 rebounds.

The Nittany Lions will travel to Bryn Athyn College for a NEAC contest on Wednesday, February 4 at 6 p.m.
