Women's basketball falls to Bryn Athyn

READING, PA (January 10, 2015) - The Penn State Berks women's basketball team fell, 91-64, to Bryn Athyn College in a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) contest on Saturday afternoon at Beaver Community Center.

Shanelle Koch recorded a double-double for the fifth straight time and sixth game this season, while Cassidy Schultz established a career-high in points scored. Koch recorded 23 points, 14 rebounds, five assists, four steals, and a career-high five blocked shots. She is the leading scorer in the conference with a 20.9 points per game average and her 11.4 rebounds per game is the fifth best. Schultz recorded 19 points, marking her third game this season reaching double figures. In addition, Schultz added four rebounds and three assists.

Nicole Maslowski tallied seven points and 10 rebounds. She hit two 3-pointers and her 52.4% shooting from long distance leads the conference. Heather Gray chipped in seven points, while Jaslyn Silva added six points and four assiss. Carine Dorlus scored two points.

The Nittany Lions will travel to Trinity College on Thursday, January 15 at 7 p.m. for a non-conference contest.
