READING, PA (August 29, 2014) - The Penn State Berks women's volleyball team pushed Elizabethtown College to the limits to open the 2014 campaign, but ultimately found themselves on the wrong end of a 3-2 decision on Friday night at Beaver Community Center.

The Nittany Lions (0-1) dropped the opening game 25-19, but bounced back with a 25-17 victory in the second. The Blue Jays (1-0) took the third game 25-15, but again Berks evened things with a 25-20 win. In the fifth and final game, Elizabethtown emerged with a 15-11 triumph to win it.
