Softball swept on the road by Wilson College



CHAMBERSBURG, PA (April 1, 2012) - The Penn State Berks softball team dropped a pair of North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Southern Division games to Wilson College on Sunday afternoon. The Phoenix won by scores of 8-0 and 10-0.

The loss drops the Nittany Lions to 3-3 in the NEAC South, while Wilson improves to 6-0.

Devon Denker was 1-for-2 with a walk in the first game. She pitched the innning, surrendering two hits and one run, while striking out one batter. Kelsey Halloran went 1-for-2 to raise her team leading batting average to .302.

In the second game, Kaylie Vrabel and Ashley Heeman were both 1-for-2. Stefany Dusman, Raychel Dearmitt and Dayna Harrison each recorded singles.

The Nittany Lions will travel to Penn State Abington for a conference doubleheader on Friday, April 6 at 2 p.m.
