Men's soccer cruises to win in season finale

MIDDLETOWN, PA (October 30, 2010) - Five different players scored goals to lead the Penn State Berks men's soccer team to a 5-2 North Eastern Athletic Conference win over Penn State Harrisburg in Saturday afternoon's season finale.

The Nittany Lions close out the 2010 season with wins in their final two matches, both within the conference. The five goals were the second most Berks scored this season, trailing the six scored against Valley Forge Christian.

Harrisburg (11-4-1, 6-2-1 NEAC) took a 2-1 lead at the 11:15 mark of the first half, with two scores sandwiched around a Tucker Langseth goal. From that point, Berks would go on to tally four unanswered goals.

Bryan Fellin scored the equalizer off of a free kick at the 16:25 mark. Senior Casey Correa's goal in the 35th minute proved to be the game winner. Langseth assisted on an Aaron Ebling goal late in the first half to push the Berks lead to three.

Jason Stoner put a rebound into the back of the net for an unassisted second half goal.

Freshman keeper Jonathan Jablonka followed up his first collegiate shutout last weekend with an 11 save effort. It was the third game in which Jablonka made double-digit stops and raised his season total to 79.
