LANCASTER, PA (October 20, 2010) - The men's soccer team battled tough for 90 minutes, but Lancaster Bible used an early goal to down Penn State Berks, 1-0, in Wednesday afternoon's non-conference contest.

At the 8:05 mark of the first half, Kyle Zook converted a corner kick into a goal for what proved to be the game winner.

The Chargers held an 8-1 advantage in corners and outshot Berks 18-9, but the Lions kept themselves in the contest.

Berks keeper JONATHAN JABLONKA limited the opposition to only one goal for the fourth time this season after making six saves. It was the fifth straight match that Jablonka made at least six saves, to raise his total to 65 on the season.

The Lions had five different players with shots on goal, but Jarrod Bergey was able to stop each of them.
