Darren Major helped the Penn State Berks men's basketball team to a 1-1 record this past week. The sophomore guard tallied 11 points in a win over Gallaudet University in the conference opener. Major then recorded a season-high 21 points and four blocked shots against Alvernia University. Major set a single-game school record with 12 free throws made.
