Ryan Foster

Ryan Foster is entering his third season as the Penn State Berks Head Men's & Women's Cross Country Coach in 2025-26. 

Under the leadership of Foster, the Men's Cross Country Team recorded its highest finish in school history in 2024, taking 3rd at the United East Championship Tournament. The Lions have recorded nine of the ten fastest 8K times during the past two seasons. Foster has helped eight runners earn all-conference honors including Trent Jordan who was named the 2024 United East Rookie of the Year. 

Prior to arriving at Berks, Foster was the assistant cross country coach at Albright College during the 2019 season. Additionally, Foster was an Assistant Cross Country and Track & Field Coach at Annville-Cleona High School from 2015-19. 

Foster ran at Misericordia University competing on the university's Cross Country, Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field Teams from 2010-2015. During his career, Foster competed in the MAC Cross Country Championships and competed in the Track & Field Championships in the 800 meters, 1000 meters & 1500 meters. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in Buisness Administration in 2015.
