Amaura Brandt

Amaura Brandt enters her first season as an assistant coach with the Penn State Berks women’s basketball team.

Prior to Penn State Berks, Brandt served as a volunteer assistant three years at Minot State University. She began her coaching career in athletics at Western Carolina University as the Director of Basketball Operations for the Catamount women's basketball program for two seasons. Brandt served a dual role as an assistant coach her first year at Western Carolina.

Brandt has a Master of Liberal Arts Degree from Dallas Baptist University and a Master of Liberal Studies degree at NCAA Division I Southern Methodist University where she played her senior basketball season.

Brandt finished her Bachelor of Science degree while playing one season at NCAA Division II Limestone College (30-1), which won the regular season Southern Athletic Conference and SAC Tournament titles while leading Division II with the highest 3-point percentage (50.6%). Brandt earned second-team all-conference honors.

Amaura began her college basketball career at the NCAA Division II University of South Carolina-Aiken where she played two seasons under her father, head coach Mike Brandt.
