Kim Cubero

Kim Cubero enters her first season as the head coach of the men’s and women’s tennis team in the spring of 2020.

Cubero has been a tennis pro in the surrounding area over the past 35 years. She worked as a tennis pro at the Philadelphia Country Club in Gladwyne from 1985-2000. Cubero most recently has been a tennis pro since 2006 at nearby Hillcrest Racquet Club in Exeter. She has certification from the USPTR in 10 and Under Tennis and Etcheberry Certification for strength and conditioning in tennis.

Cubero grew up with tennis and was a top ranked Middle States player as a junior. As a teacher, she has experience with all levels, priding herself in clear, simple communication to help players learn a strong foundation to accelerate development and stay involved with the “sport of a lifetime.”

Cubero is passionate about teaching and believes that when you enjoy what you do, you never work a day in your life. In addition, she believes in continual learning as a teacher to better help her students. Cubero loves the social aspect of the game, running many social events and encouraging members and guests to share ideas with her.
