Penn State Berks Athletics

Nikki Candelaria joined the Penn State Berks softball coaching staff in the fall of 2009.

Candelaria comes back to Penn State Berks having played two seasons with the team before moving to Penn State University at University Park to complete her Finance degree. Nikki was a staple behind the plate in her two seasons at Penn State Berks and provided leadership and dedication to a growing program. In her two seasons with the team she was named a NEAC Second Team All-Conference player as both a freshman and sophomore. Nikki is the career leader in triples with 9 and is still among the career leaders in batting average at .406, slugging percentage at .594. She continued her playing career as a two year member of the club program at University Park. 

Coach Candelaria graduated from Penn State University in May of 2009 with a degree in Finance and is currently employed by Bellco Federal Credit Union as a Loan Specialist.
