Jen Hepner is completed her sixth season as an assistant coach with the softball program in 2012.

Hepner is a local product of the Reading Area graduating from Hamburg High School in 1997. While attending Hamburg she was a three year starter on the softball team helping the team reach the PIAA Class II State Playoffs in 1997, the first appearance in school history. 

Hepner was a four year starter of the softball program at Misericordia University. During her playing career at Misericordia Hepner was a four year All-PAC selection at shortstop and second base as well as a four year PAC All-Academic Team. She was selected as the MVP of the PAC tournament as a freshman and earned ECAC Honorable Mention honors as a senior. 

Coach Hepner graduated from Misericordia University in 2002 with a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy and currently works at Reading Hospital and Medical Center.
