Brian Miller completed his second year at the helm of the Penn State Berks men's tennis team in the 2011-12 season. In his two seasons, the Nittany Lions have an overall record of 16-15 and are 6-2 in the conference.

In the 2011-12 season, the Nittany Lions had an overall mark of 7-9 and finished 3-1 in the conference regular season. For the second straight year, Berks was defeated by Penn State Harrisburg in the conference championship. The Nittany Lions had five student-athletes earn All-NEAC honors.

Miller guided the Nittany Lions to a 9-6 overall record and 3-1 in the conference during the 2010-11 season. In the NEAC Championship, the Lions fell to top seed Penn State Harrisburg. Miller had eight players earn All-NEAC honors.

A private instructor for 22 years, Miller has also been the Fleetwood High School girls tennis head coach for the past 11 years. He served as the Fleetwood boy's head coach for 11 years. In his time at the high school level, the girls won nine division titles and the boys won seven. He coached county and district competitors in each season for singles and doubles. Miller also had state qualifiers in singles and doubles.

Miller himself was a player for the USTA tennis team. He and his wife, Kim, have three children (Katie, Brennan and Andrew).
