2013-14: Massar played in nine of the Nittany Lions 10 matches. He led the team with his 80.8 average. Massar had the best finish at the NEAC Championship in school-history. After 36 holes he was tied for first place, but ended up second overall after falling in a one-hole playoff. Massar shot a 79 on the first day and followed it up with 72, which was par for the course. The performance earned him All-NEAC First Team, which is just the second person in program-history. Massar shot in the 70's four times, including each of the final three rounds of the season.

2012-13: Massar was second on the team with an 80.9 average in 10 rounds of golf as a freshman. He trailed David Seidel (80.4) by half of a stroke for the team lead. Massar had his best performance of the season on the first day of the Penn State Harrisburg Invitational, shooting a 71 (-1). He shot in the 70's on four occasions, including a 79 on both days of the NEAC Championship. His 158 at NEACs placed him 10th overall and earned him a spot on the All-Conference Second Team.
