Career: Ruggiero finished off her stellar four-year career as one of the top players in program history. She is the all-time leader in games played (143), games started (142), at-bats (434), runs scored (123), hits (156), doubles (26), RBI (95), total bases (95), and hit by pitch (13). Ruggiero has a .359 career batting average, which is the third highest in school history, while her 50 walks and .435 on-base percentage are both the fourth best.

2013: Started in and played all 41 games as a senior…played every inning of every game in centerfield…was an All-NEAC South Division First Team selection…batted .374 (49-for-131) with seven doubles, 34 RBI, and 39 runs scored…was second on the team in batting average, RBI, and on-base percentage (.429)…had 15 multi-hit games, including a season-high four against Rosemont College…batted 12-for-16 with nine runs scored over a four-game stretch late in the regular season…recorded the game winning, walk-off single in a win over SUNYIT in their first game of the NEAC Tournament…recorded 39 putouts, one outfield assist and had a .952 fielding percentages.

2012: Played in and started 36 contests as a junior…led the team in batting average (.333), hits (35), and on-base percentage (.410)…was an All-NEAC First Team selection…scored 23 runs and drove in 22 RBI, which were both second on the team…recorded her 100th career hits in a win over Gallaudet University…had 11 multi-hit games and a six game hitting streak.

2011: Started in and played all 37 contests as a sophomore…hit .383 (44-for-115) with 28 RBI and a single-season school record 43 runs scored…was second on the team in at-bats (115), doubles (11), on-base percentage (.474) and walks (18)…had 14 multi-hit games, including a 4-for-4 effort against Gallaudet…had a 10 game hitting streak midway through the season…recorded 28 putouts and four outfield assists.

2010: Was a spark plug at the top of the order for the Nittany Lions in her freshman season…second on the team in hits (28), batting average (.337), on-base percentage (.423) and third in runs scored (18)…drew 11 walks and only struck out five times in 83 plate appearances…started in 28 of the 29 contests in which she saw playing time.
