Abington, Pa- The Penn State Berk women's tennis team dropped a United East match, falling to Penn St. Abington by a score of 9-0 on Saturday, Apr. 13.
The Lions were swept in doubles play but the team of Sam Hagenbush and Victoria Katelyn battled in the #2 doubles match falling 8-4. In the #1 doubles match, Bel Clayton and Alyssa Love fell 8-2.
In singles play, Katelyn put up a good fight in the #4 singles match falling 6-4, 6-3. Hagenbush also had a strong showing, falling by a score of 6-3, 6-3 in the #3 singles match.
The Lions will have a quick turnaround, traveling to face Penn College on Sunday, Apr. 14. The match is scheduled for 1:00 PM.
