READING, PA – The Penn State Berk men's tennis began conference play dropping a match to Penn State Harrisburg by a score of 9-0 on Saturday, April 6.
The Lions fell to 1-4 on the season while Penn State Harrisburg improved to 8-5 overall.
The team of Muhammad Esmat and Jazae Maina-Itegi dropped the #1 doubles match 8-2 and the team of Donovan Sullivan and Weston Weaver fell by the same score.
In singles action, Weston Weaver played a competitive match, falling by a score of 6-4, 6-4 in the #4 singles match. Esmat and Maina-Itegi fell by identical scores, dropping the top two singles matches by scores of 6-3, 6-4.
The Lions will be back in action when they host Clarks Summit University on Wednesday, Apr. 11 at 12:00 PM.
