Men's tennis drops home bout to Harrisburg

READING, PA - The Penn State Berks men's tennis team suffered a 9-0 setback to Penn State Harrisburg in an United East contest on Saturday afternoon at Gring's Mill Tennis Courts.

Harrisburg swept all three of the doubles matches to take an early lead. The No. 2 duo Cole Epting and Daniel Popovici and No. 3 team of Jonathan Morello and Jack Filip dropped their matches by a score of 8-2.

Epting battled at No. 3 singles, falling by a score of 6-1, 6-2, while Owen VanDyke was topped 6-1, 6-1 at the sixth spot. Shane Gleason (No. 1), Anthony Chan (No. 2), Popovici (No. 4), and Filip (No. 5) all fell by scores of 6-0, 6-1. 

The Nittany Lions will compete against Lancaster Bible College in an United East contest on Saturday, April 24 at 12 p.m.
