Men's tennis drops close one to Penn College

WILLIAMSPORT, PA - The Penn State Berks men's tennis team suffered a 5-4 setback to Penn College in an United East contest on Tuesday afternoon.

The Wildcats won two of the three doubles matches for an early 2-1 lead. Jonathan Morello and Jack Filip picked up an 8-2  victory at No. 3 doubles to deny Penn College a sweep prior to singles play.

Morello continued his strong play at fourth singles, defeating his opponent 6-1, 6-3. Michael Hill (No. 5) was a 6-4, 6-3 winner and Filip (No. 6) had a 6-3, 6-1 triumph.

The Nittany Lions will host St. Mary's College in an United East match on Saturday, April 16 at 11 a.m.
