Men's tennis falls to Harrisburg in semi's

READING, PA - The Penn State Berks men's tennis team had its spring come to an end with a 7-2 setback to Penn State Harrisburg in the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Semifinal round on Tuesday afternoon.

In doubles action, Nicholas Weber and Curtis Uhle defeated the No. 1 duo of Harrisburg by an 8-5 margin. Collin Hall and Nick Ohline were topped at No. 2 doubles by an 8-5 count, while Jacob Metzger and Jake Bolles fell by an 8-2 score at the third spot.

In singles action, Weber was a 6-2, 6-2 winner at the top spot, but it was not enough as Harrisburg was able to win the remaining five matches. Uhle (No. 2) won the opening set 6-4, but Nick Rohn grabbed the next two sets 6-2, 6-3 to claim the victory. Mertzger was edged 6-2, 7-5 at No. 5 singles and Bolles suffered a 6-3, 6-4 setback at the sixth spot.

The Nittany Lions finished the season with a 3-2 record and placed second in the regular season.
