Men's tennis edged by Lancaster Bible, 5-4

READING, PA - The Penn State Berks men's tennis team was edged 5-4 by Lancaster Bible College in a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) contest on Saturday afternoon at Gring's Mill Tennis Courts.

The Nittany Lions (2-10, 0-2 NEAC) dropped two or the three doubles bouts to fall into an early 2-1 deficit. The No. 1 duo of Diego Olazagasti and Curtis Uhle picked up the lone doubles win with an 8-4 victory.

In singles action, Uhle earned a 6-3, 6-1 win at the second spot. Jeremy Heist (No. 3) won 6-3, 6-0, while Sneh Patel (No. 6) won a three-set thriller by a score of 6-1, 4-6, 6-3.

The men's tennis team joined women's tennis and softball in hosting their annual Pink Game to benefit the Breast Cancer Support Services of Berks County.

The Nittany Lions will travel to the College of Saint Elizabeth for a NEAC match on Saturday, April 13 at 12 p.m.
