In game two, Val Miller also threw a phenomenal game in the circle. The senior left-hander chucked a two-hit, shutout with three strikeouts. Miller sat down the first eight batters in order and did not allow a hit until there were two outs in the bottom of the fourth. Miller, like Rozick, did not allow any baserunner's to get beyond first base.

Berks scored a pair of runs in the top of the first and padded the lead with three in the third. They added two more in the fifth and another one in the sixth to reach the 8-run rule.
