Women's tennis topped by Penn State Abington

ABINGTON, PA - The Penn State Berks women's tennis team suffered an 8-1 setback to Penn State Abington in a North Eastern Athletics Conference (NEAC) contest on Friday afternoon.

Berks falls to 4-9 on the season and 2-2 in the NEAC, while Abington improves to 6-7 overall and 4-0 in the conference.

The No. 1 doubles team of Alyssa Miller and Lexi Vidal dropped an 8-6 thriller to Marta Tymchenko and Michelle Mirjani.  The lone win of the match for Berks came at No. 4 singles, where Nicole Meek was a 6-2, 6-4 winner.

The Nittany Lions will compete in the NEAC Individual Championship on Saturday, April 27 and Sunday, April 28.
