Women's tennis falls to DeSales in fall finale

CENTER VALLEY, PA - The Penn State Berks women's tennis team closed out the fall portion of its schedule with a 9-0 setback on the road to DeSales University on Friday afternoon.

The Nittany Lions fall to 0-3 on the year, while the Bulldogs improve to 3-2 overall.

Erin Maloney and Nicole Meek put up a fight at No. 1 doubles, but were edged 8-3 by Annie Rakos and Kelsey Kazlauskas.

Meek dropped a 6-0, 6-3 decision to Kirsten Kosa at the second singles spot. Lesley Casanas (No. 3) and Catherine Hale (No. 4) each fell by scores of 6-1, 6-2.

The Nittany Lions will return to action with their annual Spring Break Trip to Orlando, Florida in March.
