Beaver Athletics and Wellness Center

The Beaver Athletics and Wellness Center is the central hub for Penn St. Berks Athletics and serves as the home facility for the Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball and Women's Volleyball teams. The center is equipped with a new athletic trainers’ room complete with a state-of-the-art treatment and rehabilitation space, a hydrotherapy room, additional locker rooms, an equipment room and laundry facility and coaches’ offices. In addition to the main gymnasium, the center also includes an auxiliary gym that is available for usage. 

Opened in 2022, The Beaver Athletics & Wellness Center was part of a $30.4 million renovation and expansion effort to transform the center into a new designed space to support current and future programs offered to students, particularly within kinesiology. Both teaching and research in kinesiology will be supported by two new flexible-use classrooms, an exercise physiology lab, a biomechanics lab and faculty offices. The center plays hosts to several intramural and club sports allowing the student body more opportunities for recreation.
