Freshman Justin Bass gave a strong effort in the Nittany Lions hard fought 4-3 overtime loss to Penn State Abington over the weekend. The midfielder evened the match at 1-1 in the first half when he sent a direct kick into top left corner of the net. Trailing 2-1 in the second half, Cory Garritano was able to tie the contest with a header off of a perfectly placed direct kick from Bass.
