Matthew Gingerich turned in a pair of strong performances to help the Nittany Lions go 1-1 this past week. The sophomore center averaged 13.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.5 blocks, and 1.5 steals per game. He had nine points, six boards, two assists and a blocked shot against Lancaster Bible College. Gingerich followed that up with 18 points (career-high), 10 boards, five assists, three steals, and two blocked shots in a win over Gallaudet University.
