Crystal HItz was named the NEAC Player of the Year after winning the No. 1 singles tournament this weekend. In the championship game, Hitz defeated Chika Taguchi to help the Nittany Lions win the NEAC West title. She avenged her only other conference loss by beating Gabrielle LeGendre in the individual tournament finals.
