Jazae Maina-Itegi helped the Nittany Lions open up the spring portion of their schedule with a pair of wins this past weekend. The freshman paired up with Weston Weaver at No. 1 doubles for an 8-0 doubles victory in a win over McDaniel College. He then suffered a 9-8 (10-2) setback at the top singles spot. Maina-Itegi and Weaver (No. 1) teamed up for an 8-1 victory in a win against Hood College. Maina-Itegi finished off his perfect day with a 6-0, 7-5 triumph at No. 1 singles.
